Meeting Dates & Deadlines
***IMPORTANT DEADLINE INFORMATION for 2025-2026 Winter Closure***
The IRB & SCRO offices will be closed during Stanford’s Winter Closure from Monday, December 22, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026, and will resume operations on Monday, January 5, 2026. For a December review, new protocols must be submitted by November 3, 2025. Major modifications (revisions) and Continuing Review (renewal) submissions must be submitted by November 14, 2025. Minor modifications will be reviewed prior to winter closure. The IRB will provide critical support on a limited schedule and email messages and HelpSU tickets will be monitored during this time. Please contact your IRB Panel Manager or IRB Education if you have any general questions.
IRB/SCRO Schedule 2025-2026
IRB protocols may be submitted any time. New convened (Regular) applications are assigned according to the timelines below. All complete applications will generally be reviewed within 4-6 weeks. Convened meetings are held monthly. Expedited and Exempt protocols, as well as Modifications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Download 2025 - 2026 Schedule
